Song of Home
Commission done for Kaz the Minotaur.  This piece was a treat to work on giving me a chance to paint hoof stock and a water scene, something I don’t get to do very often. I do love her characters and was thrilled when she told me I would be painting her main character.

Original is 11x15 mixed media.

More than the redtail sees from above,
Longer than redwoods pass ring to ring.
Stronger than mountains lift up their stone,
Deeper than ocean wave voices can sing.
Born of the dawn and the sunset and dream,
I breathe the salt air and I harbor the flame.
Beginnings and endings all braided and bound,
Past present future all one and the same.
Memory of kindnesses echo in time,
Heartbeat percussion in blood and the bone.
Remember the moments and ones who have loved,
And I’ll play you the song of my soul and my home.
This little fellow was collaboration with Michele Light mixing our talents to create yet another cute little image. She did the drawing and I painted it.

This picture is one of those creations created with a funny story to go along with it. A friend of ours wanted sketches from her artist friends and had them all do Koi dragons. Michele was at a loss of what to do and ended up with a kitten from her past dragging a koi out of the pond. Hence the Koi being dragged on = Koi drag on. 

Hey I finally got around to posting some new stuff on Deviant.  My most humble apologies for the lack of stuff as well as any response to comments.  Been so hectic and trying so hard to keep up on everything.

My dragon portfolio is finally out after many months!  Still working on other portfolios and should have more in the future for you to enjoy.

Managed to get a t-shirt printed up as well and can be seen on my website under the portfolio section.  I decided on the Lord Anubis design which turned out very well.   Thanks so much to everyone who has been keeping track of my work and being so patient.

Oh my gosh, I finally found you! I remember seeing your artwork back when I was in school. I'd see pieces like the "New Moon" and other's online on Google images and they are incredible! Absolutely awesome. I never knew who made them but now I do. You are one amazing artist! I've been wanting to say that for a long time, Keep up the great work here! ;)

WOW! Wow is all i can say about an amazing artist like you! I love the attention to detail and the you make the fur look so soft. I love the themes of your drawings and all! I just can't say how amazing you are! I have a few ideas to help you get better but it feels awkward saying them since i'm so much worse than you but I may as well. I would try working on the eyes to make them deeper and make them almost the center of the drawing. I would also try using lighting a bit more for more effect. Either way these are just things i would improve (if i were as good as you). Keep up the AMAZING work!
