The Bats are for the artist challenge that the Pirates are doing this AC. Last year we did the seven deadly sins and it was popular enough that we decided to go ahead and do the virtues next. We each took the opposite of our sin and since mine was Greed I got to do Charity. I decided to follow up with the bat idea. I figure after poor Mr. Greed Bat dropped all his fruits to try and get the last one, a second little bat picks up one of the fruits and hands it to him. What a nice friendly little bat.

I was able to see 'Charity' by ~darknatasha offline a week ago in AnthroCon 2008 Art Show, and I must say it was an amazing piece. Because of the subject, and because of the art, talent and skills this artist shows in every single piece she does. I know the scan may not show all the wonderful details in the original painting, but for sure I hope it bribes you to check ~darknatasha's deviantART gallery and enjoy more of her art.
